The government extended the temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine

The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on amending the existing “Decision on granting the Temporary Protection in the Republic of Serbia to Displaced Persons coming from Ukraine” which was published in the “Official Gazette of the RS”, no. 21/2023 from 03/17/2023. The same Amendment to the Decision entered into force on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Temporary protection is extended for a period of one year, more precisely until March 18, 2024.

All persons who have already obtained temporary protection, as well as those who have not yet done so, should contact our Asylum Protection Center in order to help them obtain new decisions and new identity cards.
