APC/CZA psychologists and cultural mediators are providing psychological counseling and social support to a young Iranian family who had their first new born baby a couple of weeks ago in the Banja Koviljača asylum center. The APC/CZA team was also able to provide the family with baby clothes, diapers and a baby chair. The family was advised about the new challenges that they may face in while raising a new born baby in the camp and were offered solutions and tools in how to overcome these problems.
Moreover, APC/CZA’s team of lawyers will help the family to register their new born baby, obtain a birth certificate, and be given access to proper health care/medical assistance.
Such a holistic, multi-professional approach is how APC/CZA operates across the whole country of Serbia, making it stand out among similar organizations.
