APC explains the new migration trends as well as the conflicts near the borders

Belgrade, March 15, 2023– As a guest on the Uranak show on K1 television, the director of APC/CZA, Radoš Đurović, explained the new trends concerning the migration routes through Serbia, which are connected with the entry of Croatia into Schengen from the beginning of 2023.

Likewise, he presented data and information from the local quarters and from the field work of APC/CZA with regard to the intensity of migration, respecting the rights of migrants and refugees, but also the problems that accompany it, such as the armed violence of smuggling groups in local areas, the pushbacks of refugees in Serbia from Croatia and Hungary, the difficult functioning of system regards accepting and the asylum procedure in Serbia, the absence of sufficient accommodation for refugees, growing insecurity of local residents and the political initiatives that profit from the increase of fear and prejudice toward refugees.
